The service schedule in this guide is aimed to provide a general schedule for most Volkswagen models. Always check with your service provider that you are on the correct service schedule for your vehicle specifically.

General Volkswagen Maintenance Schedule

10,000 Mile Service

Every 10,000 miles, your Volkswagen vehicle should receive the following maintenance:

  • Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
  • Tire Rotation
  • AdBlue Fluid Check
  • General Vehicle Inspection (Airbags, Wiper Blades, Fluids, Etc.)

40K, 80K & 120K Mile Comprehensive Service

In addition to your routine 10,000 mile service, your Volkswagen vehicle should receive the following comprehensive maintenance at mile marks 40K, 80K and 120K:

Inspections (Replace Components If Necessary):

  • Tires
  • Battery
  • Brakes
  • Coolant
  • Engine
  • Exhaust
  • Electrical Components
  • Underbody Sealant
  • CV Joints

Additional Services:

  • Fuel Filter Replacement
  • Dust and Pollen Filter Replacement
  • DSG Transmission Fluid and Filter Change
  • Tire Fluid Filler Expiration Check – Replace When Necessary

20K, 60K & 100K Mile Service

In addition to your routine 10,000 mile service, your Volkswagen vehicle should receive the following maintenance at mile marks 20K, 60K and 100K:

  • Battery Inspection – Replace When Necessary
  • Tire Inspection – Replace When Necessary
  • Brake System Inspection – Replace When Necessary
  • Fuel Filter Replacement
  • Dust and Pollen Filter Replacement
  • Tire Fluid Filler Expiration Check – Replace When Necessary

30K, 50K, 70K, 90K & 110K Mile Service

In addition to your routine 10,000 mile service, your Volkswagen vehicle should receive the following maintenance at mile marks 30K, 50K, 70K, 90K & 110K:

  • Brake Disc Inspection – Replace When Necessary
  • Brake & Clutch Unit Fluid Change
