BMW SERVICE SCHEDULE

European Auto Repair

May 2024

“When do I need to service my BMW?” Is a question you should be asking yourself whether you own a new or used BMW. The service schedule in this guide is aimed to provide a general schedule for most BMW models. Always check with your service provider that you are on the correct service schedule for your vehicle specifically.

Several variables such as quality of fuel, quality of replacement fluids and parts, how you drive, what you drive and where you drive can all impact your service schedule.

European Auto Repair specializes in BMW auto services of all kinds. If you have any questions regarding service, please reach out. Contact us to set up your next service appointment.

BMW Preventative Maintenance

Think of the preventative maintenance schedule as a routine doctor check up for your vehicle. The goal is to make sure everything is running smoothly and find any small problems before they turn into big problems. Outside of the tire rotation, this is mainly a professional vehicle inspection.

The current and standard BMW preventative maintenance schedule revolves around a 5,000 mile interval. It is important to note that if your vehicle shows dashboard warning lights out of the standard schedule, you should contact your service provider as soon as possible.

5,000 Mile Interval BMW Preventative Maintenance:

  • Tire Rotation
  • General Vehicle & Engine Inspection
  • Fluid Checks
    • Brake Fluid
    • Coolant
    • Engine Oil
  • Front and Rear Brake Check
  • Engine and Cabin Air Filter Check
